Shared Nights
we touch stories
through darkness
loop them across the bed
tie hands and feet
with storms and flight
past ‘ever after’
to a land outside
night where dragons
rest on sheered sheep
you find a sword
but cut nothing
only the ribbon
that loosens the past
to announce
‘once upon a time’
